Each day blends culture, cuisine, and connection, curated by local hosts and sommeliers who know every vineyard road and hidden piazza.
Day-by-Day Itinerary (September 5–11)
Day 1 — Saturday, September 5 • Arrival Among the Vines
Morning/Afternoon:
Arrivals into the Abruzzo region and transfer inland to the rolling hills of the countryside. Check-in at a historic family-owned wine estate, set among vineyards and olive groves, with winemaking traditions rooted in the region for generations. The setting offers a quiet, refined atmosphere where the rhythm of the land naturally takes over. The afternoon is intentionally unstructured, time to settle in, enjoy the pool, or take a gentle walk through the vineyards and surrounding grounds.
Evening:
Aperitivo at the estate, featuring local wines, cheeses, and cured meats, enjoyed in the place they are produced. Hosted Group Welcome Dinner in nearby Loreto Aprutino, a hilltop village long associated with olive oil and understated elegance. A warm and authentic introduction to Abruzzo’s culinary traditions.

Day 2 — Sunday, September 6 • Hill Towns & the Abruzzese Table
Morning:
A relaxed morning exploring two of Abruzzo’s most character-rich hill towns. Begin in Loreto Aprutino, where narrow stone streets and centuries-old architecture reflect a deep connection to tradition, particularly its renowned olive oil culture.
Continue to Penne, recognized among Italy’s most beautiful villages. Its terracotta tones and sweeping views toward both mountains and sea capture the essence of Abruzzo, balanced between rugged nature and quiet refinement.
Afternoon:
Return to the estate for a hands-on cooking experience, offering a personal introduction to the flavors and traditions of the Abruzzese kitchen.
Relaxed wine tasting, where the estate’s wines are explored in connection with the land and cuisine that define them.
Evening:
Dinner at leisure in Loreto Aprutino or Penne, allowing you to choose the setting and pace for the evening.

Day 3 — Monday, September 7 • Wine & Olive Oil
Morning:
Breakfast at the estate before departing for Alanno, a peaceful hill town surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
Note: You will be spending the night at a historic estate, an overnight bag is recommended.
Afternoon:
Hosted Lunch (included) in a panoramic hilltop trattoria in Alanno, where traditional Abruzzese dishes are served with a strong sense of place.
Visit to a historic boutique estate set among the hills, known for its warm hospitality and refined expression of Abruzzo’s native varietals.
Guided tour of the oil mill and wine cellar, followed by a tasting of selected wines and extra virgin olive oil with rustic bread.
Evening:
Hosted Dinner in Alanno, continuing the day’s immersion into the region’s culinary and wine traditions. Overnight at the estate’s boutique accommodations.

Day 4 — Tuesday, September 8 • The Trabocchi Coast & Arrival in Pescara
Morning:
Scenic drive along the Adriatic coastline toward Fossacesia, where the landscape reveals one of Abruzzo’s most distinctive coastal stretches.
Pause at the Abbazia di San Giovanni in Venere, set above the sea with sweeping views and a profound sense of history.
Afternoon:
Hosted Lunch along the Costa dei Trabocchi, at a seaside setting where the menu follows the day’s catch and the pace reflects life by the water.
Walk along the coastline, where the historic wooden fishing structures extend over the sea, a defining image of the region.
Return to Pescara and check-in at a beach-adjacent residence in the elegant Pineta district, a tranquil enclave shaded by maritime pines.
Aperitivo at the residence, featuring local wines, cheeses, and cured meats.
Evening:
Dinner at leisure.

Day 5 — Wednesday, September 9 • Coastal Living & Pescara at Leisure
Morning:
A relaxed start to the day with time to enjoy the Adriatic, whether through a seaside walk, a beach club experience, or simply embracing the slower coastal rhythm.
Afternoon:
Hosted Lunch in Francavilla al Mare, centered around both raw and cooked seafood, local specialties, and wines such as Trebbiano and Pecorino.
Return to Pescara for time at leisure, including the opportunity to explore Corso Umberto I and the surrounding streets, the heart of the city’s local life and shopping.

Hosted Dinner at an elegant restaurant in the Pineta district

Day 6 — Thursday, September 10 • Atri, Silvi & Farewell to Abruzzo
Morning:
Departure for Atri, one of Abruzzo’s most historic towns, where layers of Roman and medieval history remain deeply present. Explore its quiet streets, the Cathedral, and traces of its past.
Afternoon:
Head to Silvi Marina with destination to Silvi Vecchia (Old Town)
Visit to a private wine tasting at a renowned noble family-run estate, friends of our journey’s coordinators. Estate established in the 14th-century. Light lunch included
Evening:
Hosted Farewell Dinner in the Pineta district, a final gathering to reflect on the journey and celebrate the shared experience

Day 7— Friday, September 11 • Arrivederci, Abruzzo
Morning: Breakfast and departure window. Coordination available on request for shared transfer to Pescara’s airport or train station.
